Lily cries onstage

Lily Allen broke down in tears on stage last night.

The ‘It’s Not Fair’ singer was performing in Helsinki, Finland, when she began sobbing, causing her sparkling blue eye make-up to run.

The 24-year-old star was so distraught she had to use a towel to dry her eyes, however, she was quick to insist it wasn’t the crowd who were upsetting her.

She said: “I feel a bit emotional tonight and if I cry it's not because of you but because of me.”

Allen's tears may have been caused by a nasty fall she endured the night before, which meant she had to have a painkilling injection.
