Price launches TV company
Katie Price has launched her own independent TV production company.
The glamour model has created Pricey Media as a platform to launch her latest reality show ‘What Katie Did Next’, which follows her life in the three months since she split from singer husband Peter Andre.
Katie has already said the ITV2 show will reveal "a very different side" to her as it follows her on a girls’ holiday to Ibiza, launching her latest novel and forming a new relationship with cage fighter Alex Reid.
She added: “I'm actually happy and there's been lots of laughter as I move on and get on with my life."
Pricey Media, which is co-founded by former ITV Studios executive Mark Wagman, has been set up to "broaden Katie’s broadcast career" through a range of new programmes, aimed at both the UK and abroad.
Mark also refutes claims ‘What Katie Did Next’ is an attempt to win fans over from Katie’s estranged husband.
He said: "This isn't part of the PR battle, it is a very honest account of her life moving forward.
"All the sides of Katie's life will be covered, good and bad, but you will also see a softer side to her."
As a couple Katie and Peter previously starred on ITV2 shows including ‘Katie and Peter’ and ‘Katie and Peter Stateside’, which helped propel the couple to become two of the channel’s biggest stars.
Peter has also made a one-off 90 minute reality show for ITV2, ‘Peter Andre: Going It Alone’ which will air on Monday (17.08.09).
He also expected to continue making further TV programmes for the channel.
