Tweed vows to fight for visiting rights
Jack Tweed has vowed to fight his mother-in-law to keep seeing his step-children.
The widower of reality TV star Jade Goody – who lost her battle with cancer in March – vowed to see her children Bobby, six, and Freddy, four, despite their grandmother, Jackiey Budden, seeking to ban him with a court order.
Jack said: “Of course I’ll fight an injunction, I wouldn’t let it happen. I’d fight any attempt to prevent me seeing the boys.”
Jackiey revealed yesterday she is “very concerned” for Jack’s mental health and the influence he has on the children, from Jade’s earlier relationship with TV host Jeff Brazier.
She cannot, however, launch court action without Jeff’s support, as he is their legal guardian.
Jeff is so far said to have ignored Jackiey’s concerns, and a friend said although he has complained the boys have learned swear words from Jack – who has recently hosted a number of wild parties at his new bachelor pad - he remains on good terms with him.
The friend told Britain’s The Sun newspaper: “Jackiey is the troublemaker in all of this.
“Jeff doesn’t want the kids upset, and although he has concerns for Jack, he appreciates he was a part of the boys’ lives for several years.”
Jack, 22, has also admitted his drinking is getting out of hand as he tries to cope with the grief of losing his wife, and his family have arranged for his uncle, a school headmaster, to try and convince him to cut down on his party lifestyle.
Jack confessed: “I’m drinking quite a lot, which I shouldn’t be.”
