Ritchie rapped over pub noise levels
Noise levels at Guy Ritchie’s pub are being measured by a microphone after Westminster City Council received dozens of complaints.
The council has received 37 complaints about noise from The Punchbowl, in central London, since the film director bought the pub in March last year.
A microphone has now been attached to a neighbouring home to measure noise at the Mayfair pub, which is popular with celebrities.
The council said the microphone does not record conversations but simply measures decibel levels.
Managers at the pub have already tried to reduce the disturbance to neighbouring residents by bringing customers inside at 9pm.
They have also introduced door supervisors to help reduce noise outside the premises.
