Langella set for 'Wall Street' sequel

Frank Langella is in talks to star in ‘Wall Street 2: Money Never Sleeps’.

Producers want the ‘Frost/Nixon’ actor to play the role of Lewis Zabel, an old-time stock broker who mentors an ambitious Wall Street youngster played by Shia LaBeouf.

A host of Hollywood stars have already signed up to the ‘Wall Street’ sequel, which will see Michael Douglas reprise his role as Gordon Gekko.

Josh Brolin is also reportedly being lined up for a part in the drama movie.

The film will be directed by Oliver Stone for 20th Century Fox and the script has been penned by Allan Loeb.

This will be 71-year-old Langella's biggest film role since he played Richard M. Nixon in the 2008 blockbuster 'Frost/Nixon', for which he was nominated for the Best Actor Oscar.

Douglas won the Best Actor Academy Award for his lead in the 1987 blockbuster.
