Radiohead tribute to 'Last Tommy'

Rock group Radiohead have recorded a musical tribute to First World War veteran Harry Patch following his death aged 111.

Mr Patch, who was known as the “Last Tommy”, served in the trenches as a private from June to September 1917 and fought in the bloody battle of Passchendaele in which more than 70,000 British troops died.

The Radiohead track Harry Patch (In Memory Of) was inspired by a radio interview with the former soldier recorded in 2005.
