Tweed brands Jade's mum a money-grabber

Jack Tweed has branded his mother-in-law, Jackiey Budden, a money grabber.

The 22-year-old widower of reality TV star Jade Goody has hit back at her mother, who said yesterday Jade had told her from beyond the grave that marrying Jack was "the biggest mistake of her life".

Enraged by Jackiey's comments, Tweed responded: “She has said all this as though she is Mrs Perfect herself when we all know her past. I don’t want to get into it because I could talk about Jackiey all day. “Jackiey is simply after the money, I don’t doubt that."

Goody's mother claims to have contacted Jade through a psychic, and said she had also told her she was "disgusted" Jack had slept with glamour model Lisa O'Connor just three weeks after Jade lost her battle with cancer in March.

Tweed added to Britain’s Daily Star newspaper: “This is Jackiey we’re talking about, she sees a lot of things in her head. I don’t want to slag her off because everything is a bit raw, but I feel a bit let down.

“She has said some pretty nasty things about me. It’s not fair. I am starting to get fed up of reading her rants.”

Risking further accusations against him, he blasted Jackiey from his new bachelor pad in Essex, England yesterday, where he had spent the previous night with three women.

Tweed had reportedly met the two brunettes and a blonde in nearby Faces nightclub, and they were seen wrapped in towels while giggling and drying their hair at his home, before leaving after midday.

Asked if they'd all spent the night with Jack, one woman replied: "Yes, but so what?"

Tweed's agent denied he is sexually involved with the women, claiming one is his cousin and the others just friends.

He said: "They slept in spare rooms. There's nothing untoward going on."
