Jackson's doctor 'gave him anaesthetic before he died'
Federal investigators today searched the home of Michael Jackson’s doctor amid allegations that the physician administered a powerful anaesthetic hours before the singer’s death.
Officials, believed to be from the Drug Enforcement Agency, were seen entering Dr Conrad Murray’s home and office is Las Vegas.
It follows reports that police believe that Dr Murray gave the pop star propofol to help him sleep shortly before he died.
Officers are working on the theory that the powerful sedative caused his heart to stop, it has been suggested.
