O'Brien worried about impact of Corry return

Tina O’Brien doesn’t think returning to ‘Coronation Street’ would be good for her relationship.

The actress – who quit her role as Sarah-Louise Platt in the ITV soap two years ago – is currently dating her former co-star Ryan Thomas and is worried working together again would be too much.

Tina – who gave birth to the couple’s daughter Scarlett last October – said: “Seeing the other half in work all the time might be a strain.”

Although Tina isn’t sure about a return, it was recently claimed she had been in talks with producers to rejoin the show in a sensational Christmas storyline.

A source said: "It's the talk of the set. There's a real buzz about the place now that it looks like Tina is returning."

It is understood the new plot could involve Sarah reuniting with husband Jason Grimshaw, played by Ryan.

Tina initially gave up her role in the hope of landing acting jobs elsewhere, but fell pregnant shortly after leaving.
