Kenneth quits 'Big Brother' house

Self-styled "international playboy" Kenneth Tong walked out of the Big Brother house early today.

The businessman, who was born in Hong Kong but lives in Scotland, had been in the house less than a week, after entering last Friday as one of five new housemates.

He had been bookmakers' favourite to be kicked out in tomorrow's eviction.

He faced the public vote along fellow new housemates Bea, David, Hira and Tom, as well as original housemates Marcus, Noirin, Halfwit, Dogface, Siavash and Charlie.

A spokeswoman for 'Big Brother' said Kenneth walked out of the house at 4.50am this morning and voting has been suspended.

It is not yet known why he left the competition, but he had been at the centre of several clashes in the house during the past few days.

The 24-year-old is going out with former housemate Karly, who was evicted last Friday - minutes after millionaire Kenneth entered the house.

He has been accused by Karly's friends in the house of flirting with the other female housemates.

He also clashed with Bea after she refused to carry out a secret task.

The new housemates were told last Friday that they had to make sure Noirín and Halfwit were nominated for eviction this week.

They had to come up with a plan to manipulate this, without discussing the task with the original housemates, but Bea, who has made friends with Halfwit since entering the house, refused to take part - saying the task was "against my morals".

Kenneth snapped at her and was given an official warning by Big Brother about his language.

When he apologised to Bea, she said: "I don't like being told to f*** off, I don't like people shouting at me. I appreciate you saying this to me. But let's just get on with the show."

Bookmaker Ladbrokes had given Kenneth odds of 1/14 to be evicted this week.

Kenneth is the second housemate to walk out of this series.

He follows Saffia Corden, who quit the programme only eight days into the competition, claiming she missed her two children.
