'Sarah-Louise' set to rejoin Corry
Tina O’Brien is set to rejoin ‘Coronation Street’.
The 25-year-old actress – who played Sarah-Louise Platt in the ITV soap, before leaving at the end of 2007 – is reportedly in talks to return for a Christmas storyline.
A source said: “It's the talk of the set. There's a real buzz about the place now that it looks like Tina is returning.”
It is understood the new plot could involve Sarah reuniting with husband Jason Grimshaw, played by Tina’s real life love Ryan Thomas.
Tina initially gave up her role in the hope of landing acting jobs elsewhere, but fell pregnant shortly after leaving.
The couple welcomed daughter Scarlett last October, and Tina is said to be itching to start work as Sarah again.
A source told Britain’s News of the World newspaper: “Tina will have devoted a year to little Scarlett when the time arrives that ITV are talking about getting her back on board.
“She had a big money offer to go on reality show ‘I'm A Celebrity... Get Me Out Of Here’ but turned it down because she didn't want to leave her girl.
"She's 90% certain she wants to go back in but wants to be completely sure before she commits herself."
