Fiddy prefers movies to music

50 Cent prefers making movies to music because he finds it more creative.

The rapper-and-actor - real name Curtis Jackson – says working on a film is easier because there is more time to get a message across.

He explained to 'MTV News': "You see, a song only has two minutes and 50 seconds, maximum of three minutes, before you start reaching an overkill point, There's not time for you to create like there is in these scripts, because movies can create cause and effect, reasoning for those actual behaviours."

Since turning to acting, 50 has starred in several movies, with varying degrees of success, but claims he is never motivated by money.

He added: "It's not so much a financial draw for me if I read the script and I'm passionate about being a part of the actual project - from an artistic standpoint - then I'll commit to it."
