Madonna visits stage-collapse victims

Madonna is expected to visit workers hurt in France when a stage roof collapsed killing two of their colleagues including a Briton.

The mayor’s office in Marseilles said Madonna is expected to visit two hospitals tonight.

Madonna’s concert that was scheduled for tonight in Marseilles was cancelled after the accident on Thursday at the Velodrome stadium, when the roof of the stage collapsed while it was being built and crashed down on the workers.

The next stop on her tour is in Barcelona, Spain on Tuesday.
