Rex back to put spark in house

Rex Newmark plans to “electrocute” ‘Big Brother’ housemates.

The outspoken chef said show producers have urged him to make the house more interesting when he enters for an Anniversary Week task because the current contestants are too dull.

Rex – who became embroiled in several rows with fellow housemates when he appeared on in last year’s ‘Big Brother’ – said: "I'm meant to be electrocuting the housemates. Terrorising them and kicking up some trouble while I'm there.

“They want to spice the show up by putting me in because the housemates are really boring".

When asked who he is tipping to make the final of this year’s series, Rex predicted Rodrigo, despite him "not really existing in some of the episodes".

He added: “Someone like him will fly into the final and that doesn't really make for a good finish to ‘Big Brother.”

Several former contestants have entered the house this week to take part in tasks as part of the show’s 10th anniversary celebrations.
