Corrie's Keegan had nerves over kiss

Michelle Keegan was nervous about kissing Ryan Thomas.

The ‘Coronation Street’ actress – who plays Tina McIntyre – said she found it strange kissing Ryan, who plays her new boyfriend Jason Grimshaw, because she was used to her ex-soap boyfriend.

Talking about things getting steamy on the soap between Tina and Jason, she said: “There’s a fair bit of snogging. That was really hard at first. I was used to kissing Jack P. Shepherd who plays David Platt, and I was nervous about doing kissing scenes with Ryan. But when you’ve done it once, it gets easier.”

Michelle - who won the award for sexiest female at this year’s Soap Awards – also added that the couple are about to take their relationship to the next level and have sex.

She added: “it was on the cards when they were on the sofa at the Grimshaws’ but Eileen interrupted them so they haven’t had sex yet, but they will.”
