La Roux singer not trying to be trendy

Elly Jackson’s insists her hair cut is accidental, not a fashion statement.

The La Roux singer never intended to have her androgynous short quiffed style and has denied it was an attempt to attract more attention.

She said: “I didn’t do the hair to sell records. It happened by accident. I started cutting it but it went a bit wrong and I quite liked it.

“Hopefully my album will give people more to grab on than just two singles and hair," said the 'Bulletproof' star.
