Reese for pharma comedy

Reese Witherspoon is to star in 'Pharm Girl', a comedy about the pharmaceutical industry which follows an ambitious employee who rises through the ranks of a shady drugs company.

The movie is being penned by 'Bad Santa' and 'I Love You, Philip Morris' scriptwriters Glenn Ficarra and John Requa, who are also in talk to direct the project, sparking speculation that what is being billed as an "aspirational comedy" will have a darker side.
