'Big Brother' set for new housemate

A new housemate is set to enter the ‘Big Brother’ house.

Channel 4 bosses are keen to boost flagging ratings by secretly arranging for a new person to join the show next week and spice things up.

An insider said: “We’re thinking of how we can put someone in and shake the show up. The current housemates need a kick to give fans better entertainment.”

It is believed there are currently 10 prospective housemates in hiding on standby who could join the reality show at a moment’s notice.

The programme’s bosses are said to be keen for a girl to enter the house because there are currently more male than female housemates as evicted contestants Bienazir and Sophia and Saffia - who walked out of the show – were all female.

There is also speculation the new housemate could be a model or similar stunning girl, put into the reality TV house to test the strength of Sophie – aka Dogface - and curly-haired lothario and self-confessed womaniser Kris’ budding relationship.

The couple kissed last week and shared a bed on Sunday and Monday nights.

A show source told the Daily Star: “Their feelings are going to be tested to the limits when the new arrivals get into the house.

“I think we will start to see their true colours. Will they be so into each other that they can’t be tempted?

“Or will they drop each other like a hot potato?

“Everyone who’s involved in the show is expecting that there will be some fireworks either way.”

Before ‘Big Brother’ began there were rumours of former Miss Wales Stephanie Holland, 22, becoming a housemate on the show.
