Kym Marsh says having her breasts enlarged has “changed her life”.

The ‘Coronation Street’ actress – who plays betting shop worker Michelle Connor in the soap – recently had surgery to boost her 34B bust to a D-cup, as well as having liposuction on her stomach, and says the operations have given her a much-needed confidence boost.

She said: “It’s something I always wanted to have done. I’ve been very self-conscious about my breasts for a long time. Since having my kids, there was nothing there.

“I was paranoid about the belly I was left with after having my children. I could literally grab my stomach. So I thought I might as well get it done and have a completely new body. It really has changed my life. It’s made me much more confident.”

Kym – who has children David, 14, and Emily, 11, from a previous relationship – is currently dating former ‘Hollyoaks’ star Jamie Lomas and says he is delighted with her new look.

She added: “I never felt sexy in bras. Of course, Jamie wasn’t bothered but I wanted to do it for myself. But Jamie loves them.”

The couple were rocked by tragedy in February when their premature son Archie died just minutes after he was born, but Kym insists the heartache has made them stronger as a couple.

She added to Reveal magazine: “Jamie and I are obviously very happy together but we don’t want to be rushing into anything.

“We’ve had a pretty full-on first year together, with one thing and another, so we’re trying to take our time now.”
