Peaches to become a Scientologist

The 20-year-old socialite Peaches Geldof is set to become a Scientologist after being seen leaving a Scientology Celebrity Centre in Hollywood with documents about the bizarre sci-fi cult.

According to the papers Peaches was holding, the centre “takes care of those who entertain, fashion and take care of the world”.

If Peaches does join the religion she would follow in the footsteps of Tom Cruise, Katie Holmes and John Travolta, who are all devout Scientologists.

Meanwhile, Peaches was seen enjoying an intimate kiss with a mystery girl over the weekend.

The wannabe DJ – who split from husband Max Drummey earlier this year – was photographed in the passionate embrace in a Los Angeles tattoo parlour.

The kiss came soon after Max had branded their marriage – which saw them wed in Las Vegas after a whirlwind romance – a publicity stunt.

He said: “It was totally a publicity stunt. 100%. I have Peaches on retainer. She's my friend for money. She also orchestrates publicity stunts for me.”

However, he soon apologised for his comments, saying: “My comments made regarding my marriage were not intended to be taken seriously.”
