West confirms split

Kanye West has confirmed he has ended his romance with music video vixen Amber Rose.

The 'Stronger' hitmaker and model Rose have been dogged by rumours of a split for weeks, but neither star has addressed the break-up claims.

However, a spokesperson for West admitted to the New York Post: "They are no longer a couple."

The hip-hop star was previously engaged to fashion designer Alexis Phifer, but the couple split in 2008 after six years together.
