Boxer wants to 'wallop' BB's McKenzie

A female boxer wants 'Big Brother' contestant Angel McKenzie eliminated from the show so she can "wallop" her in the ring.

Plymouth-based pugilist Kristin Shergold is "boiling over" with rage because her scheduled bout with the Russian boxer and fitness trainer might be cancelled because as she is in the 'Big Brother' house.

About the fight - which is planned to take place in Trowbridge on Friday June 26 - Kristin said: "It's a real mess and I'm very, very unhappy about it all. The first I heard of her being on the programme was when a friend texted me.

"I wasn't very pleased, as you can imagine - in fact, my emotions boiled over. It's unbelievable. I've been training for the fight with Angel and now it looks like the contest won't take place.

"Unless, that is, she is booted off 'Big Brother' later this week, which might give her time to get back in shape. I really hope she does get kicked off then I can give her a good walloping myself."

Super featherweight Kristin, 28, also attacked the 35-year-old housemate’s fighting skills, claiming she isn't as talented as she thinks she is.

She added: "Despite what everybody's been saying, especially Angel herself, she's not world class - far from it.

"She's only won twice in 17 fights and they were her first two contests - she's lost every one since then. But, that aside, the whole thing has left me the loser - burning with anger but no-one to take it out on."

Angel - one of 15 housemates on 'Big Brother' - admitted earlier this morning told fellow housemate Rodrigo how she had come to England after a failed romance spoiled her dreams of becoming a rock star in her home country.

In the UK she was taken in by the London-based McKenzie boxing family, which is where from where she takes her name.
