Madonna continues adoption hunt

Madonna is set to turn her attentions to orphanages in the African country of Lesotho if she is denied the chance to adopt Mercy James from Malawi.

The pop superstar launched a legal battle to adopt Mercy, four, in April but her bid was turned down on the grounds that prospective parents have to be resident in the country for 18 to 24 months prior to an adoption.
