Woman given probation after attacking Cowell's former girlfriend

A woman who attacked the former girlfriend of Simon Cowell outside the 'American Idol' finale has pleaded guilty to “misdemeanour battery”.

Janice Thibodeaux entered the plea in Los Angeles and was sentenced to three years of probation and ordered to take anger management classes.
