Baron Cohen sued

A woman is suing NBC Universal and comedian Sacha Baron Cohen, claiming a scene for Cohen’s upcoming film Bruno left her disabled.

Richelle Olson claims she was severely injured in a struggle with Cohen during a charity bingo tournament. She claims he used vulgar language during the game, and then struggled with her when she tried to reclaim the microphone.

The lawsuit, which is seeking more than US$25,000 (€17,634) in damages, was filed in Lancaster, California, which is about 70 miles north of downtown Los Angeles.
