Irish-born entertainer Danny La Rue has died after a short illness, his spokeswoman said today. He was 81.

Irish-born entertainer Danny La Rue has died after a short illness, his spokeswoman said today. He was 81.

The legendary female impersonator had been suffering from cancer.
