Performance of Larter only highlight of ‘Obsessed’

Cast: Beyonce Knowles, Ali Larter, Idris Elba

Merely another stalker thriller handicapped by the obvious fact that Knowles can’t act … and by the fact that we’ve seen it all before, done with more style and menace.

Larter does come out of this disappointing film on the credit side playing the stalking office temp who believes successful businessman Derek (Elba) loves her.

Otherwise nothing new or gripping is offered to us, with Knowles simply appearing as the wife.
