Jordan makes first appearance since split

One-time glamour model and now aspiring couturier Katie Price will make her first official public appearance today since splitting with husband Peter Andre.

The 31-year-old, also known as Jordan, takes to the catwalk at the Clothes Show London to model her range of equestrian clothing KP Equestrian.

Earlier this week Price pulled out of a planned appearance on Jonathan Ross’s chat show – which would have been broadcast tonight – saying she did not feel ready to talk about recent events.

Price’s catwalk commitments come the day after Andre made his first public appearance since the split during a steamy male strip show.

Andre was greeted by hundreds of screaming women as he spent a few moments on stage at the sexy dance show 'Here Come The Boys!' at London’s O2.

He did not take part in the routines but praised the act, telling the audience: “You’ve got great-looking guys out the back and you’ve got great-looking girls in the front.”

Price and Andre, 36, announced earlier this month they were separating after three and a half years of marriage.

They met on the set of jungle reality show 'I’m A Celebrity ... Get Me Out Of Here!' and wed in a “fairytale” ceremony in September 2005.

The bride wore a three-yard-wide Barbie-pink gown with a corset made from thousands of pink Swarovski crystals, topped off by a pink crown more than a foot high.

Price was replaced in the line-up for 'Friday Night With Jonathan Ross' by Gurkhas’ champion Joanna Lumley.

In addition to her catwalk turn, Price is also expected to pose for photographs with a sculpture of herself made of sand.
