Rihanna takes acting classes ahead of movie bow

Rihanna will make her acting debut in new movie 'Personal Protection' later this year.

The 'Umbrella' hitmaker recently denied rumours she'll star in a big-screen remake of Whitney Houston's 1992 film 'The Bodyguard'.

But Rihanna appears to have changed her mind and has signed on to the forthcoming film.

And she is taking her foray into the movie industry seriously - she's enrolled in acting classes in New York to prepare her for the role.

A source told the New York Daily News: "Rihanna will start filming 'Personal Protection' later this year.

"She's not ready, acting-wise, yet, so she's meeting with a coach."
