Tubridy to become new 'Late Late Show' host
Ryan Tubridy has been unveiled as the new presenter of 'The Late Late Show'.
RTÉ confirmed his appointment this evening
The radio and television presenter will take over from Pat Kenny in the autumn.
Tubridy who will celebrate his 36th birthday on May 28, began his broadcasting career when he was 12 years of age reviewing books on the Radio 2 show 'Poporama'.
Later, he graduated to working as a reporter on Pat Kenny's radio show before securing his own radio programme and his current Saturday television show 'Tubridy Tonight'.
The decision to award him the slot will come as a surprise to some, as 'Prime Time' host Miriam O'Callaghan had been the favourite to get the job.
