Gilmour to sing for London's homeless

Pink Floyd guitar legend David Gilmour is headlining a secret gig to raise money for London's homeless.

The star will take to the stage at a mystery venue on May 24 alongside Afro-blues act Amadou & Mariam.

Fans will only discover where the concert is taking place the day before, via text message.

All proceeds will go to the charity Crisis.

Gilmour said: "It was a wonderful surprise when (Amadou & Mariam) called recently, inviting me to collaborate with them on this special one-off occasion for Crisis. I'm looking forward to breaking down a few musical boundaries in the cause of helping the homeless".
