‘O'Horten’ very unusual but has its charms

A curiosity from Norway about a 67-year-old train driver, Odd (Owe), who faces retirement by going on a series of adventures ... none of them, it has to be said, very exciting.

Odd simply meets people, does things with them, moves on ... it's all very much underplayed. It still manages to be engaging, quirky and often charming, but it remains a film for those who like to seek out the unusual.
