Cage movie car crash leaves two pedestrians in hospital

Filming on Nicolas Cage's new movie 'The Sorcerer's Apprentice' was halted on Monday morning when a high-speed car chase through New York's Times Square went awry - leaving two pedestrians injured.

The action scene saw a black Ferrari weave through traffic in the busy tourist spot, but onlookers were left stunned when the car slid on the wet road and smashed into the front of a restaurant, hitting one bystander and knocking down a lamppost - which fell and struck another person.
