Schreiber misses premiere to be with ill son

Liev Schreiber was missing from the Hollywood premiere of 'X-Men Origins: Wolverine' because his 21-month-old son Sasha was taken ill.

People.com reports the actor immediately flew to New York to be with partner Naomi Watts and their two children.

Sasha was admitted to hospital overnight with respiratory issues, before being sent home.

Liev plays Wolverine’s brother and nemesis Sabretooth in the movie, alongside Hugh Jackman and Ryan Reynolds.
