Mayer: I don't have a girlfriend

Rocker John Mayer has laughed off reports that he's moved on to romance another actress after his split from Jennifer Aniston, insisting he's still single.

The couple's on/off relationship came to an end in March and Mayer was reported to be dating aspiring star Scheana Marie.

The 23-year-old actress fuelled rumours she was the singer's latest conquest when she described Mayer as "a great guy", adding: "He's funny and sweet."

But Mayer is adamant there is no truth to the dating claims, telling X17: "If I had a girlfriend, she would be incredibly offended by me saying: 'I DON'T have a girlfriend,' so that's the proof."
