Rihanna books first live show since Brown bust-up
Rihanna has booked her first live stage show since her alleged altercation with ex-boyfriend Chris Brown in February - in the United Arab Emirates (UAE).
The couple were involved in a well-publicised fight in Los Angeles in the early hours of February 8, which reportedly left Rihanna battered and bruised - and prompted both singers to pull out of their performances for the Grammy Awards that night.
Rihanna made her return to the recording studio just days after the incident, and now she's working on a stage show in the Middle East, scheduled for May 28 at a venue to be determined
Promoter Yassin Matbouly said: "We have been working to bring Rihanna to the region for a while now but it has never been the right time for one reason or another. This time everything worked out and the gig will more than likely be the last outdoor concert before the summer - and one not to miss."
Brown was arraigned on two felony charges of assault and making criminal threats earlier this month.
He will return before a judge for a preliminary hearing on April 29 and faces nearly five years behind bars if convicted.
