Electric Picnic tickets to go on sale from Friday

Revellers have been alerted than tickets for this September's Electric Picnic Festival are to go on sale this Friday.

The first announcement of the line-up is due to be made today.

The three-day event takes place in Stradbally on September 4, 5 and 6 and tickets will cost €240.

Family tickets, which proved very popular last year, will cost €480, including up to four children.

A 35,000 capacity crowd is expected at the 600-acre Stradbally Hall Estate in Laois.
