Crowe to make Pearl Jam movie

'Almost Famous' director Cameron Crowe has signed up to chronicle rockers Pearl Jam's 20 years as a band in a new movie.

Crowe is reportedly working on a documentary consisting of existing concert, backstage and studio footage with the band.

Band member Mike McCready said: "We're building up to our big 20th anniversary... We're trying to do a movie with Cameron Crowe with all of our existing footage."
