Efron dreams of going 'Back to the Future'

Zac Efron is hooked on time travelling and dreams of taking on Michael J Fox's role in a new 'Back to the Future' movie.

In his new film '17 Again', Efron's character - played as an adult by Matthew Perry - is struck by lightning and becomes a teenager again.

And now he's keen to take on the the ultimate time travel adventure by recreating Fox's Marty McFly character in a fourth instalment of the hit film franchise.

Efron reveals: "Growing up, my favourite thing to do was to climb into the car and play 'Back To the Future'. I would pretend I was Marty McFly."

Fox last played McFly in 1990's 'Back to the Future Part III'.

Efron recently pulled out of revisiting another classic movie, 'Footloose'.
