Robbie not rejoining Take That, says Barlow

Robbie Williams will not be rejoining Take That, Gary Barlow has said.

Robbie Williams will not be rejoining Take That, Gary Barlow has said.

At the end of last month, a national UK newspaper quoted Williams as saying a reunion was “looking more likely by the week”.

But speaking during the recording of Chris Moyles’ Quiz Night, Barlow said: “People constantly ask if Robbie will rejoin us, but nothing has changed.

“We’re a happy band right now. Robbie won’t be joining.”

Williams has himself denied ever talking to the newspaper about a reunion.

He wrote on his blog: “The boys have their thing going on and so do I...”

The 35-year-old walked out on the group in 1995 and the band split a year later.

Barlow and band members Howard Donald, Jason Orange and Mark Owen launched a successful comeback in 2006 after the release of 'Patience', which went to number one.
