Jordan buys new horse to compete in equestrian events

Model Katie Price today revealed she had bought a new horse as part of her plans to take part in a series of equestrian events this year.

The 30-year-old, also known as Jordan, said she hoped to take part in a number of riding competitions when she returns to the UK from her current base in Los Angeles.

The mother-of-three, who today unveiled a new range of equestrian clothing, said she had been “getting to know” her new horse – named Jordan’s Player.

“When we move back from LA, I’ve got lots of riding plans for the rest of the year,” she said.

“I’m going to enter loads of dressage competitions, both on Jordan’s Glamour Girl and my new horse, Jordan’s Player.

“I bought him recently in Holland. I took him out with me to LA and I’m having a great time getting to know him.”

Price, who launched her brightly coloured clothing range at a studio in west London, said she planned to compete in a top equestrian event at the NEC, in Birmingham on April 19.

“Something I’m really looking forward to is taking part in an arena polo match at the British Open Show Jumping Championships,” she said.
