Rourke styles comeback
Mickey Rourke deliberately wears eccentric clothing in a bid to regain his status as a big-screen heavyweight, according to the star's stylist.
The actor has stepped out in a range of outrageous outfits since his triumphant return to Hollywood with an Oscar-nominated role in 'The Wrestler'.
And his edgy style is all part of his bid to make the movie industry stand-up and take notice, reveals the star's stylist Michael Fisher.
He said: "When I first met with him we discussed how he wanted to reflect the resurrection of his career in the way he dressed. We both wanted the clothes to be as stand-up and as noticeable as his performance was in 'The Wrestler'.
"I'd bring in a rack and he'd go through it and select what he liked most. He loves fashion, likes to take risks and he gets really excited. It's refreshing to find a celebrity, especially a male, who's willing to try new things."
