Jade describes final days with family
Jade Goody said she hoped she had left people with lots of laughs to remember her by.
The terminally ill star also apologised if she made people cry over her wedding, which was screened on Living last week.
Goody, who has cancer, left hospital last week to go home and spend the time she has left with her family.
Speaking in New! magazine, she said: “I was knackered after the hour-and-a-half journey back to Essex, so I spent the rest of Wednesday sleeping it off.
“I hadn’t seen (sons) Bobby and Freddy since the christening, so I really wanted to see their faces and give them a big hug.
“They’ve been staying with their dad, Jeff (Brazier).
“He picked them up from school on Thursday and brought them straight to see me.
“Little Freddy was so excited. He was the first one in the front door.
“I was so emotional, I burst into tears. I was so happy to see them.
“They stayed for about three hours and we spent the time playing and cuddling.
“We made face masks for the boys to paint. I was shattered by the time they left, but it was so great to see them.”
Speaking about not knowing when her final moments will be, Goody continued: “It’s horrible saying goodbye not knowing if I’ll see them again.
“I just want us to spend as much time together as we can.”
On the subject of her wedding, Goody told readers: “Sorry if it made you cry!
“I absolutely loved making every single one of my TV shows and I hope I’ve given you lots of laughs to remember me by.”
Speaking about her message from Michael Jackson and other goodwill gestures, Goody said: “Can you believe I got a message from Michael Jackson?
“The king of pop! I’ve always been a massive fan. I love him.
“He got his people to call the hospital because he wanted to speak to me and wish me well.
“But I was asleep! What am I like? So he recorded a little answerphone message and Jack (husband Jack Tweed) played it to me.
“He said: ’Hi Jade, I’m thinking of you and hoping everything goes as well as it can.
“’I want you to come and see me when I’m over. My brother keeps asking me about you.’
“I still can’t get over it. I should have tried to blag a ticket for his tour!
“I’ve also had a gorgeous bunch of flowers from Amy Winehouse and another from Robbie Williams.
“It’s so sweet of all these people to take the time to show they’re thinking of me.”
Goody said her husband was still being “really sweet”.
She said: The other day we just cuddled up and watched TV together.
“Jack fed me chocolate and we lay there rubbing noses like a couple of loved-up Eskimos!
“On Thursday, he brought his guitar round and played a few tunes for me and the boys. We all love it when he plays. I bet you didn’t know I married a rock star!”
Yesterday Goody’s friend and publicist Max Clifford said she was too ill to see Bollywood star Shilpa Shetty.
The pair first met on 'Celebrity Big Brother' in 2007 when Goody was plunged into a race row over the treatment of the Indian contestant. The pair have since made their peace.
