'Simpsons' creators in Dublin for premiere of new episode

The creators of 'The Simpsons' are in Dublin today for the world premiere of a new episode set in Ireland.

The episode has been created to mark St Patrick's Day.

It sees Springfield's most famous family travel to the fictional village of Dunkillderry, where a drunken Homer and Grandpa end up buying O'Flanagan's pub.

Marge, Lisa and Bart also travel to the Guinness Brewery, where the secret ingredients to the black stuff are revealed as bog water and chocolate syrup.

Members of the show's cast will be taking part in Dublin's St Patrick's Day parade tomorrow.
