Beyonce has only dated Jay-Z

Beyonce Knowles has never suffered a broken heart - because her only relationship has been with husband Jay-Z.

The singer - who is notoriously private about her love life - began dating the rapper in 2002 and they married in a secret ceremony in New York last year.

And Knowles, 27, admits she has never had any other serious boyfriends - because her relationship with Jay-Z is her only romance.

She told L.A. Confidential Magazine: "Fortunately I haven’t had any breakups! This is my first relationship.

"We were together for a really long time before we got married; we were in no rush."

And Knowles claimed that, contrary to media reports, their marriage is strong, adding: "I’m very, very happy, that’s all I’ll say. It’s just natural for people to start rumours and try to break things up."
