Anger over Brown award nomination

Children’s TV network Nickelodeon is facing a growing storm over its refusal to drop R’n’B star Chris Brown from a list of potential award winners.

Brown, who is accused of beating and threatening to kill his 21-year-old girlfriend, singer Rihanna, has been nominated for favourite male singer and best song at the channel’s Kids’ Choice Awards.
