Goody leaves hospital
Terminally ill television star Jade Goody left hospital today.
The 27-year-old 'Big Brother' star was carried into an ambulance after leaving the Royal Marsden Hospital, in west London.
Earlier, her publicist Max Clifford said she was “desperate” to return to her home in Upshire, Essex.
Mr Clifford said Goody left the hospital with her husband, Jack Tweed, 21, this morning.
“They are going back home,” he said. “The decision about whether she could leave hospital was going to be made this morning.
“Obviously, they’ve decided she’s well enough to go. One of the nurses is going with her.”
Goody, who was diagnosed with terminal cancer last summer, has been told she has weeks to live.
Mr Clifford said Goody wanted to be with Tweed and her two sons, Bobby, five, and Freddie, four.
“She wants to spend as much time as possible with the boys and Jack,” he said. “At the moment, that’s very difficult.”
