Rihanna and Brown record 'emotional' duet

Rihanna and Chris Brown have reportedly recorded a duet, inspired by their bust-up a month ago.

Music producer Polow Da Don convinced Rihanna to turn the track she was working on before the incident into a duet with her boyfriend when the couple reconciled after a brief split.

She agreed and the young lovers recently recorded a series of "late-night" sessions, according to TMZ.com.

A source tells the website: "(It was) very, very emotional... The feeling in the room was pure love."

The unnamed track the pair recorded reportedly focuses on overcoming difficult challenges as a couple. There are no immediate plans to release the record.

Brown faces almost five years behind bars if convicted of two felonies connected to his alleged attack on Rihanna. He is scheduled to face sentencing in April.
