Drummer Andy Burrows has quit British rockers Razorlight, citing "personal reasons".

Burrows failed to show for Razorlight's show in Wolverhampton earlier this week and had to be replaced by David 'Skully' Sullivan-Kaplan.

And now the drummer has confirmed he is walking away from bandmates Johnny Burrell, Carl Dalemo and Bjorn Agren to focus on other projects, reports NME.com.

He said: "The past five years in Razorlight have been an amazing experience. I am very proud of everything that myself, Johnny, Carl, and Bjorn have achieved together, but for personal reasons I have decided to leave the band. I will be pursuing other musical ventures."
