Simpsons episode comes to Ireland

The makers of The Simpsons cartoon are preparing a special St Patrick's Day episode which will be broadcast here before it is transmitted in the US.

The new episode, entitled 'In The Name of the Grandfather', will see Granpa Simpson's dream come true when Homer takes him back to Ireland.

The Simpsons' executive producers along with Nancy Cartwright, who voices Bart, will be visiting Ireland to promote the show.
